One of the most important aspects of your grill is the cooking grates. They're part of your grill that gets the closest to your food, and they're responsible for those gorgeous sear marks we all adore.  The materials used to create a cooking grate will determine its performance as well as its durability. Cast iron and stainless steel are the two best materials to consider when purchasing a new grill, and these are the materials we use to create our caliu grate collection. Stainless steel can stand high temperatures and humidity without oxidizing. It is a strong, stable material that will not affect your food unless you want it to. It requires little upkeep and is most likely the best option for the home cook. Many chefs prefer cast iron grates because they conduct heat more effectively than other metals and provide a nonstick cooking surface that allows for easy removal from the grill.  The grilling options are endless when it comes to our Caliu grates.
