READ BEFORE USING ANY CALIU BARBECUE

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unpack the packaging that includes all the parts of the Caliu barbecue. 

3. Place the case on a stable surface. 

4. Put the brazier inside the case, making sure the four support points match with the inferior holes on stainless steel case.

5. Place the charcoal base in the inferior part of the inside of the brazier.

6. In the center of the charcoal base place a special lighting barbecue block and light it.

7. Place a layer of charcoal on the interior base, creating a small pile around the lighting block.

8. To speed the lightning of the charcoal, it is recommended to use a fan or an accessory.

9. Let all the charcoal blocks light (they should look red and covered by ashes) uniformly and then spread the blocks in the

interior in just one layer.

10. Place the grill in the fittings on the sides of the brazier and the inox grill.

11. Wait some minutes until the grate is hot and then you can start cooking.

INDICATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

- It is forbidden for people under 18 years old to use the barbecue. Keep it away from children and babies.

- Always use it outdoors, in well ventilated places. Do not leave it outdoors and without covering it.

- Always use a blanket to protect the table from high temperatures and grease.

- Be careful not to use the barbecue on delicate places, such as natural wood or flammable varnish.

- The use of specific charcoal for barbecues is recommended; it should be charcoal compacted into 3-4 cm small blocks.

- The optimal amount of charcoal for each use is one single layer of charcoal blocks (850g of charcoal approximately). Do

not place charcoal blocks on a pile forming more than one layer (just do so in the beginning of the process, as specified

below). It should be a uniform single layer (3-4 cm height).

- In order to keep the barbecue in perfect conditions, clean it after every use.

CLEANING

1. Let the barbecue cool after its use and take out the charcoal and ashes.

2. Use a specific cleaning product for barbecues and leave it for a few minutes.

3. Clean with a wet scourer (use a metalic scourer for the grate).

4. Rinse and wipe dry it carefully.
